Catalyst Cymru: Broadening Horizons – Toolkit Development

Published

Description

We require the winning contractor to research and produce a bilingual ‘toolkit’ resource, which will act as a long-term resource and legacy from the Catalyst Cymru: Broadening Horizons project, helping heritage organisations that didn’t participate in the project to also ‘broaden their horizons’. Through the toolkit, we hope that the impact and learning from this project continues beyond its lifetime. The finished toolkit should be a html-based digital resource; once completed it will be accessible via the Third Sector Support Wales (TSSW) Knowledge Hub (www.thirdsectorsupport.wales). It should include case studies exemplifying the experiences and learning of organisations participating in the Widening Networks activities, as they sought to make their organisations and/or heritage sites more accessible to diverse communities. Other evidence-based advice and guidance can also be included to make the toolkit a useful resource. The Catalyst Cymru team will provide background and evaluation information from the Widening Network activities that have taken place. We will also support the contractor to make contact with the Widening Network participants to gain insights into what they have learnt from their experiences, and what recommendations they would make to other heritage organisations to become more accessible. Requirement Research, development, design and delivery of a html-based bilingual digital toolkit: • Toolkit to provide advice, guidance, signposting to resources (as applicable) and case studies on how heritage organisations can make their organisations/heritage sites more accessible to diverse communities • Make recommendations to the Catalyst Cymru team and then agree format and visual look of the toolkit, ensuring the toolkit itself is accessible and aligned to WCVA’s Catalyst Cymru branding and Welsh Language Standards • Ensure all activities undertaken to develop the toolkit, and the toolkit itself, are compliant with GDPR and data protection legislation, with particular reference to the use and storage of participant details. • Project inception meeting and regular communication during project period (to be confirmed at inception meeting)
