Anglian Water Services Ltd (Anglian Water) undertook a Procurement Exercise to assess Bidders for Grounds Maintenance Services and Management. In brief, Anglian Water award places on the framework for up to 8 years to deliver the requirements set out in the specification and draft contract documentation provided to Bidders. The successful Partner(s)/Supplier(s) will be allocated the work through initial award and following mini competition(s) on returned quotation(s). Anglian Water will allocate the areas of service. All bidders were able to offer services across the whole region- Anglian Water East of England including Hartlepool. The Procurement Exercise was conducted in a number of stages: Stage 1 : Request For Information (RFI) Stage 2: Request For Proposal (RFP) Lot 1: • Ground Maintenance- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Grass Cutting, Weed Killing, Hedge/Scrub maintenance, Planted Borders. Access Road / track maintenance, Path clearance, Ditch /Drain /Maintenance (within the site boundary only), Grass Plots, Mowing of banks, Cut and collect Mowing, Biodiversity Grass Cut, Hand pulling, Invasive non-native species removal, Gritting, Snow Clearance and Winter Package, Removal of Debris, Emergency tree work and tree maintenance, Ad-hoc tree work and Tree Maintenance, Fence Repairs (Chain link), Waste Management, Pest Control, GIS (Geographical Information System) Mapping Services, Grounds Maintenance on Commercial Sites, Potential move from Amenity Grass Cutting to Biodiversity Grass Cutting and Hedge/Scrub Areas (see draft agreement/specification).
