Die Universität Bayreuth beabsichtigt die Beschaffung zweier 3-Achs-CNC-Fräsmaschinen und einer Zyklen- gesteuerten Drehbank. Die mechanischen Werkstätten der Universität bearbeiten alle benötigten, verfügbaren, Werkstoffe mittels den gängigen Bearbeitungsverfahren. Unsere Materialien wären: - Werkzeugstähle aller Art - Nichtrostende Stähle aller Art - Hochtemperatur Stähle aller Art - NE-Metalle, wie z. B. Kupfer, Messing, Aluminium - Kunststoffe jeglicher Art. Hieraus fertigen wir technologisch hochwertige Werkstücke für die Forschung. Hierbei ist eine sehr hohe Genauigkeit (Wiederhohlbarkeit) zwingend erforderlich. Die Programmiersprache muss zu den im Bestand befindlichen Maschinen und zum vorhandenen Personal passen.
