GB-Watford: Air Quality and Contaminated Land Consultancy Services

Watford Borough Council and Three Rivers District Council are the two district councils that cover Southwest Hertfordshire, with a number of assets across the borough. There is a requirement for Consultancy services to assess the impact of Air quality and contaminated land. this will be tendered under two lots. For contaminated land, this will include review planning consultations received by the Environmental Health team from our Planning and Infrastructure team, this will involve recommending either refusal (lack of information provided), recommending suitable conditions, or recommending approval if there are no concerns or if the information submitted is sufficient to ensure risks are managed. For assessing air quality, to assist the Environmental Health Team in assessing and responding to planning consultations within existing AQMA's or developments of a significant size that could impact air quality. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
