An Taisce, a charity and company limited by guarantee, prepares its financial statements under FRS 102 and SORP for Charities. Previous financial statements and annual reports are available on antaisce.org. An Taisce is committed to gradual improvement of the layout and transparency of the information contained in the annual report and financial statements. This is been delivered out over multiple years. An Taisce aims to complete its financial statements within 3 to 4 months of its year end (31 December). Income in 2023 was €10.5m which included funding from government departments, state bodies, corporates and individuals. In the majority of our funding arrangements, expenditure is budgeted and managed to meeting the funding levels. An Taisce’s biggest cost is salaries for just over 100 employees. An Taisce operates an open and transparent cost allocation process. Central (Shared) costs are allocated to each funding stream via a monthly calculation. This calculation is provided to stakeholders as agreed within our funding agreements. An Taisce welcomes tenders for this work to be submitted to An Taisce.
