Bei einem Phased-Array Radar handelt es sich um ein phasengesteuertes Radar mit starker Richtwirkung. Dieser Radartyp zeichnet sich dadruch aus, dass in einer Antenne eine vielzahl von Einzelantennen verbaut sind, die jeweils einzelt angesteuert (phasengesteuert) werden können. Dadurch, dass diese Einzelantennen unterschiedlich angesteuert werden können, ist das Antennendiagramm des Radars elektronisch schwenkbar. - Dies hat den Vorteil, dass im Gegensatz zu einer klassichen Radaranlage, keine drehende Teile benötigt werden, um diese Schwenkung umzusetzen. Des Weiteren erzielt man mit diesem Radartyp eine sehr hohe flexibilität und redzuiert den Wartungsaufwand. Lot 1: 1 Hafenschutz-Demonstrator
