This procurement is for a range of Asset Maintenance Support services to United Utilities (UU) sites throughout the North West including water and wastewater treatment works and depots. As part of this procurement opportunity we are seeking to award an agreement with a single maintenance partner for maintenance support across the UU region that can be broken down in to 10 areas. We anticipate the value of the award to be in the region of 40 000 000 GBP to 60 000 000 GBP per annum. Anticipated agreement award is December 2018 (or earlier where possible) for a go live date of no later than 1.4.2019 via Achilles UVDB. The prequalification stage will be against selected codes with consideration to turnover being applied. Interested suppliers should ensure that their UVDB membership is complete in order to ensure receipt of the invitation to participate and should respond in accordance to the submission criteria. The closing date for this notice will be 8.12.2017 at 13:00. As part of this procurement opportunity we are seeking to award an agreement for the following: Asset Maintenance Support Services that can be broken down in to 10 areas; 1. Managed Services; 2. Building Works; 3. Civils Works; 4. Electrical Maintenance Works; 5. Headworks remedial works; 6. Off-site Fabrication; 7. On-Site Services; 8. Re-Instatement Works; 9. Mechanical Works; 10. Instrumentation. United Utilities Project Objectives for this review are: — Reduced like for like operational costs, — Improve transparency and cost certainty, — Improve operational control and reduce management, — Improve service levels and enhance service delivery for internal maintenance staff and the wider business, — Risk transfer or risk reduction. Other requirements include: — Generation of Management Reports using the latest market practice and technology. — Periodic internal and external benchmarking. The overarching aim will be to award to suppliers who are keen to work collaboratively with UU and appointed contractors and partners, drive cost savings benefits and bring innovative technology and continuous improvement during the course of the agreement. The framework agreement will need to have enough flexibility to ensure that there is transparency and consistency with UU, their partners and appointed contractors.
