Lot 1: NHSE (East of England) (referred to as the Commissioner) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliverer Community & School Aged Immunisation Services (CSAIS) by responding to this opportunity as required and described in this document, and within the published tender.<br/><br/>NHS England is responsible for commissioning Section 7A Public Health services which include the community and school aged immunisation service (CSAIS) delivered to children and young people.<br/><br/>The aim of this service is to deliver a safe and effective vaccinations to children and young people in school and community settings.<br/><br/>This service will cover the following immunisations:<br/>• Seasonal flu immunisation including Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV) and intramuscular (IM) vaccines in line with national roll out plans, this includes special schools and nurseries (students and staff)<br/>• Tetanus, diphtheria, and polio (Td/IPV)<br/>• Meningococcal groups A, C, W and Y (MenACWY)<br/>• Human Papillomavirus (HPV) for girls and boys<br/>• Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) catch-up<br/>• Neonatal/ infant BCG and BCG catch-up<br/>• Outbreak response in a community setting.<br/>• Potential to expand further to cover the following (but not limited to)<br/>- Provide opportunistic adult immunisations.<br/>- RSV<br/><br/>NHS England, East of England, has reviewed the existing CSAIS services delivered across the region’s 6 ICBs (currently configured according to geographies of Essex, East Anglia, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes). To streamline our commissioning approach and to simplify contracting arrangements, it is our intention to commission a single service for the East of England Region.<br/><br/>The procurement is expected to deliver the following benefits:<br/>• Protect individuals and communities against vaccine preventable diseases.<br/>• Maximise overall uptake achieving ‘herd immunity’ wherever possible.<br/>• Improve uptake in areas of historically low uptake.<br/>• Improve consistency of service provision across the whole of East of England region.<br/>• Providing appropriate and patient led services in the right place.<br/>• More cost-effective use of NHS resources.<br/>• Respond to outbreaks.<br/><br/>The current contracts are due to end on 31st August 2025, the new contracts are expected to commence on 01st September 2025 for a period of 4 years with an option to extend for up to a further 4 years (in instalments of 12 months or more at the discretion of the Commissioner) (total contract duration 8 years). <br/><br/>The value of £136,583,084 is the total value for the 8-year period and is based on £17,072,886 per annum.
