Description

City of Wolverhampton Council (“CWC” / “Council”) seeks to design and develop health and residential buildings and associated public realm (“Project”) on the Council owned site known as the former Oxley Moor House & Oxley Training Centre, Probert Road, WV10 6UF (“Site”) situated north of the City of Wolverhampton (“City”) centre. The Project consists of circa 3,000 sqm Health & Wellbeing Facility for the delivery of primary and social care services and an apartment building providing 23 Self & Custom Build new homes. An Outline Planning Application (“OPA”) has been approved by the LPA and can be viewed on the Councils planning portal under application reference 22_01337_OUT (http://planningonline.wolverhampton.gov.uk/online-applications/ ). The Council have appointed a project design team to commence addressing planning conditions and to prepare technical design and specification information to form part of the main contractor tender pack. The Council may tender the construction contract for the Project together or separately for the health and residential buildings. Lot 1: The City of Wolverhampton Council is issuing this notice with a view to alerting suppliers who may be interested in expressing an interest in tendering for these works. The Council would also welcome any feedback in response to this PIN, which should be sent to anna.dumont@wolverhampton.gov.uk Please note that this PIN does not give any supplier an advantage, and it does not constitute a call for competition. Information received will give the Council up to date market knowledge available and provide an understanding key supplier concerns. Which will also assist in guiding the Council in its development of the tender documentation, and commercial strategy for the upcoming tender exercise. This opportunity is for the development of a new health facility, a new residential apartment block and associated public realm as described above in Section II.1.4 Short Description. The Council may tender the construction contract for the Project together or separately for the health and residential buildings.
