Following the Pre-Procurement Notice (PPN) issued in February 2018 for the Market Engagement phase for the future of Maritime Support, including notification of an upcoming Market Day and Request for Information, the UK Ministry of Defence (UK MOD) is issuing this Prior Information Notice to invite companies to participate in a second Market Day. Please note: Since the issue of the earlier PPN, the programme name has changed from Future Maritime Support Strategy (FMSS) to Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP). The objective of Market Day 2 is to inform the market of the proposed scope of the Lots and outline procurement strategy for competed works at Portsmouth and Clyde Naval Bases, prior to launch of the formal procurement period. The services being competed are: Ships Engineering Services at Portsmouth Naval Base; Naval Base Services (including Repair and Maintenance, Cleaning, Grounds and Waste Management, Office Services and Equipment, Utilities, Catering, Security, Accommodation, Waterfront and Lifting Services, Health, Safety and Environmental Services, Warehousing Services and on-site Logistics) at Portsmouth Naval Base and Clyde Naval Base. Market Day 2: The FMSP Market Engagement will be held in Bristol on 3.8.2018. The UK MOD invites all parties interested in attending this event, to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), confirming the name(s) of those wishing to attend, by no later than noon on 26.7.2018 to: desshipsfmsp-comrcl@mod.gov.uk Please include “FMSP Market Day 2” in the email subject line. Following receipt of an EOI, MOD will respond with further details regarding the event. (Please note, we require responses to this Prior Information Notice through your company email address only. Responses via personal email addresses will not be accepted). Places per organisation may need to be restricted, subject to the extent of interest. Expressions of interest received after 26.7.2018 may have to be rejected owing to restrictions on the number of attendees. Market Day 2 is open to all Suppliers, regardless of whether or not they participated in the earlier stages of the FMSP Market Engagement phase.
