The Romsdsal fjord crossing, or the former Møre axis is a project where the objective is to connect the largest towns in Møre og Romsdal by a ferry-free connection. The project has later been included in the ferry-free coastal highway route project between Kristiansand and Trondheim. The contract includes the collection of geophysical data by using refraction seismic surveys off-shore and onshore. The assignment consists of: — seismic refraction offshore: approx. 9 200 m, — seismic refraction onshore: approx. 500 m. In order to get the best overview possible of the ground conditions for the sub-marine tunnel.
