Für das Projekt ?Erweiterung der Abstellanlage Römerstadt? wurde vom Kampfmittelräumdienst (KMRD) des Landes Hessen im Planungsgebiet ein Kampfmittelverdachtspunkt verortet. Aufgrund dessen muss eine Bohrlochsondierung vor Baubeginn durchgeführt werden. Weil sich im Planungsgebiet und der bestehenden Abstellanlage Auffüllungen von 7 ? 10 m befinden, muss die Sondierung des Kampfmittelverdachtspunkts ab der Geländeoberkante aus dem Jahr 1945 durchgeführt werden. Insgesamt fallen somit Bohrungen bis 15 m Tiefe an. Da sich der Kampfmittelverdachtspunkt im Gleisbereich der bestehenden Abstellanlage befindet, ist für die Sondierung nur die Zwei-Wege-Technik einzusetzen.
