Gegenstand des Unternehmens der Auftraggeberin, eine 100 %-ige Tochtergesellschaft der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, sind aktuell der Betrieb eines Systems zur Erhebung und Kontrolle der Lkw-Maut in Deutschland, die Erbringung von technischen und beratenden Leistungen im Zusammenhang mit den Kontrolldiensten des Bundesamts für Logistik und Mobilität und von Leistungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Europäischen Elektronischen Mautdienst. Für die Benutzung mautpflichtiger Straßen mit mautpflichtigen Fahrzeugen ist der Mautschuldner verpflichtet, eine Maut zu entrichten. U.a. steht ihm dafür die Zahlungsmöglichkeit per Tankkarte zur Verfügung. Gegenstand dieser Veröffentlichung ist der Abschluss von Akzeptanzverträgen im Rahmen eines Zulassungsverfahrens. Damit soll über Akzeptanzverträge für Tankkarten mit Emittenten die bargeldlose Zahlung von Maut, spätestens ab dem 01.09.2024, sichergestellt werden.
