Framework for the provision of: i) provision of end user computing hardware, maintenance, support and peripherals ii) server, network and infrastructure hardware, maintenance and support iii) software licensing, maintenance and support Lot 1: End user computing hardware, maintenance, support and peripherals (i) End user devices and IT peripherals, (ii) Network devices, network infrastructure and audio-visual equipment, (iii) Security related devices, (iv) Any other IT hardware and peripherals, as required by the Company. Operating systems and utility Software included as part of a standard Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) product offering/factory build are included in this lot when purchased alongside or installed on the associated hardware. Lot 2: Server, network and infrastructure hardware, maintenance and support (i) Server devices and associated goods including storage devices, (ii) Network devices and network infrastructure goods, (iii) Security related devices, (iv) Any other IT hardware and peripherals, as required by the Company. Operating systems and utility Software included as part of a standard Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) product offering/factory build are included in this lot when purchased alongside or installed on the associated hardware. Lot 3: Software licensing, maintenance and support (a) Suppliers - specialist channel partners for Software that have capability to provide a full range of commercial and open source commodity off-the-shelf software, software licenses and associated commoditized software services including software asset management. Suppliers have in depth knowledge and expertise with the major software vendors, providing access to discounts and significant rebates through the use of their partnering arrangement. (b) Software licenses and implementation services including: Open Source, commercial off the shelf (COTS) software, operating systems, middleware, utilities including anti-virus and configuration services related to the implementation of this software. (c) Value-added services - including (but not limited to) provision of advice and tools for software licensing and asset management, software configuration and optimisation capability, pre sales support for specification clarification, delivery of training on software packages, post-sales support for commoditized software, support, upgrades and maintenance services associated with products purchased. (d) One Stop Shop – The facility for the Company to run further competitions to select a single Supplier for the provision of a defined requirement for a defined time period.
