Description
The alterations to the Fire Station principally involve reconfiguration of existing rooms to comply with the contaminant control process and dignified facilities detailed within the Standard Station design guide. The works comprise the replacement of the existing open-plan dormitory with individual bedrooms, replacement of gender specific toilets and showers with gender neutral facilities, replacement of clerestory glazing with a composite cladding, provision of an external boot wash and upgrade of existing Drying Room and Gear Store.
