Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority is seeking to appoint an Independent Local Pension Board Chair on a consultancy basis to assist the Authority (Scheme Manager) in relation to the administration and governance of the Firefighters’ Pension Scheme(s), in order to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and any requirements of the Pensions Regulator.The Chair will ensure that the scheme operates efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with relevant regulations.The outcome of the procurement is to appoint a qualified and experienced individual to the position of Independent Local Pension Board Chair.
