Multisupplier framework for Virtual Learning Environments/Learning Management Systems, associated services and support

Description

In summary the Services comprise of the provision of Virtual Learning Environments (VLE)/ Learning Management Systems (LMS) and associated services and support. The Education sector in Ireland has an ongoing requirement for VLE/LMS services across the country. The purpose of this framework agreement is to allow HEAnet and its member institutions purchase VLE/LMS services, including support and value-added services (hereafter referred to as the Required Services) in support of operations. Cloud/Managed hosted solutions are sought. Tenderers may also provide information in relation to self-hosted solutions. Self-hosted solutions will not form a part of the evaluation process for admittance to the framework. It is intended to set up a multi-supplier, multiple lot framework Lot 1: Brightspace VLE/LMS based platform There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework Lot 2: Canvas VLE/LMS based platform There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework Lot 3: Moodle VLE/LMS based platform There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework Lot 4: Sakai VLE/LMS based platform There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework Lot 5: Blackboard Learn VLE/LMS based platform There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework Lot 6: itsLearning VLE/LMS based platform There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework Lot 7: OLIVE based platform There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework Lot 8: Other VLE/LMS platforms not listed above There are eight (8) lots in this framework agreement and the top three (3) resellers/original VLE/LMS suppliers per lot will be admitted to the framework
