The machines are used to perform Red Cell Exchange Transfusions, Therapeutic Plasma Exchanges, Stem Cell Collections and White Blood Cell Depletions. Over the last few years, the Trust has seen a steady increase in the purchase of the consumables required to undertake treatments. To ensure compliance the Trust is looking to secure the required consumable products under a multi-year contract.
