Description
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ("UCLH") intention is to tender for the supply of Strontium-82/Rubidium-82 generators, a Rubidium 82 delivery system and consumables to support the cardiac PET service provided at UCLH. The current UCLH's workload for Rubidium PET imaging is approximately 1650 patients (1650 x 2 elutions) per year, and we expect a 5% annual increase on this figure over the three years. University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is hosting a market engagement meeting for prospective bidders for the provision of Rubidium Generator and Delivery System. This meeting will provide interested suppliers with an overview of the proposed requirements and desired outcomes. There will also be an overview of the procurement process and the opportunity to ask questions about the process. This meeting will take place from 10:00 -16:00 on Wednesday 30 June 2021 and will be held virtually. We hope that this meeting will provide potential providers with an insight into the requirement UCLH intends to procure and give them an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification where necessary. It will also be an ideal opportunity for providers to express their thoughts on what an ideal requirement should provide and ideas on how these recommendations can be implemented and delivered. There is no guarantee that a procurement exercise will follow the completion of this Market Engagement exercise. In order to assist the Trust with testing their assumptions and proposed requirements, we ask that interested suppliers express an interest to attend the market engagement meeting by booking a slot via the procurement team. Following the booking of a slot, the procurement team will share the draft specification, in readiness for the supplier 1 to 1 supplier engagement meeting. It is anticipated that the requirement will commence in September 2021. The annual contract value is in the range of £400,000- £500,000 GBP. The estimated total value over the possible contract lifecycle of 3 years is £1,200,000 - £1,500,000 GBP. Please note that the market engagement meeting will be on 1 to 1 basis, and only suppliers that have book/reserve a slot will be invited to attend. To book a place and confirm your attendance, please contact the Procurement Team via email at jean-claude.simba@nhs.net or Sandra.baiden@nhs.net The deadline for expressing your interest to attend this event is at 17:00 on Friday 25 June 2021.
