Vascular therapy compression hosiery and associated products including: anti-embolism stockings (knee length, thigh length, full length, tape measures, applicators); Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) therapy (sleeves/wraps/cuffs, tape measures; electro stimulation and other alternative methods; graduated compression (leg ulcer kits, lymphedema garments, applicators, accessories) together with all associated products. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 18 000 000 to 25 000 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. Estimated value over the maximum framework agreement term (4 years) will be in the region of 72 000 000 to 100 000 000. Anti embolism stockings are used to reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis. Anti-embolism stockings in knee,thigh and full length both with and without non-slip soles. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 10 200 000 to 13 500 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. IPC intermittent pneumatic compression device that is composed of an inflatable garment consisting of multiple pressure compartments that wraps around the arm or leg. The garment is intermittently inflated and deflated.Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) garments in knee and thigh length and IPC foot garments. Garments must contain either single chambers which can be inflated uniformly or multiple chambers that can be inflated sequentially from the ankle up the leg. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 7 490 000 to 11 088 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. Graduated compression garments for upper and lower limbs including compression hosiery, arm compression and lymphodema garments. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 90 000 to 120 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. Graduated compression venous leg ulcer kits or liners. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 26 000 to 32 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. DVT prevention devices which use therapeutic methods other than compression stockings or IPC therapy products, and therapeutic devices for the treatment of venous disease and leg ulcers other than graduated compression garments. Products within this lot include, but shall not be limited to: electro stimulation devices; footwear which flex the calves; wrap products. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 140 000 to 170 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. Vascular therapy accessories including, but not limited to; hosiery applicators both single use and reusable to assist with the fitting of anti-embolism stockings and compression hosiery. Anti-embolism tape measures to aid the user to measure and select the correct size of anti-embolism stocking through colour coding or other mechanism which matches the stocking size to the tape measure. Tubing to connect IPC garments to units for tubing for pumps where this is not initially provided for items within lot 2 or to replace existing tubing that has become damaged. IPC pumps, pumps which attach to IPC garments by way of connectors and control the compression levels of IPC garments worn by patients. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 54 000 to 90 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement.
