Description

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHSFT (DBTH) is looking at options to deliver the following outcomes: - Improve patient and public experience of navigation around the hospital site - Improve and mitigate delays in patient attending their hospital appointment - Mitigate non-attendance due to late arrival The overall objective of the Trust is to secure the provision of a modern, efficient and effective way for patients and public that, attend hospital to easily locate and find where they need to be. Public feedback has provided insight that people find attending the hospital stressful and difficult when finding where they need to be. Any solution must take in to consideration accessibility and people consent. The purpose of this PIN is to encourage any organisation interested in providing these types of services to engage with the DBTH. Further engagement options may be available if the Trust chooses to hold a provider day to explain in more detail the options and to discuss and take advice/guidance from the market on those options. The Trust may also wish to share the current specification for discussion and thoughts from potential providers. The Trust will require from all potential suppliers the following: • Information concerning the services and functionality a vendor can offer • Case studies as to where these services have been deployed before in the UK • Information concerning pricing structures (for benchmarking information only this is not a tender) • Responsibilities of the Trust in the deployment of such services • Details of ongoing support arrangements and associated costs.
