DM er erhvervsuddannelsernes konkurrence for de dygtigste unge håndværkere i over 40 fag, og hertil kommer et antal demonstrationsfag og kommercielle stande. Kravene til afholdelse af DM i Skills er min. 20 000 m2 under tag, og derfor skal ordregiver, ud over det eksisterende anlæg, bruge i alt 5 telte af varierende størrelser. 4 rammetelte på 50 x 70m, 30 x 130m, 30 x 100m, 30 x 130m og et mastetelt på 46 x 62m. Teltene skal bygges på et aluminiumsgulv, der vil være på plads inden byggeriets start, og skal opstilles på hhv. en grusbane og en boldbane med græs.
