Request for information - Oldham Care Homes 2024

Published

Description

Background Oldham Council and NHS Greater Manchester ICB (Oldham Locality) are seeking to engage with the market to discuss the gaps within our Residential Care Home and Nursing provisions (for adults) and the prospective opportunities. The identified gaps include bariatric care, male-only units and additional nursing beds. This event aims to gather insights, foster collaboration, and explore opportunities for providing these services to Oldham residents with the aim of expanding the current offer available in the borough. Market Engagement Event As part of the commissioning process, we are holding a market engagement event in the coming weeks and would like to invite interested providers to attend. The purpose of the event will be to engage with providers and discuss: • Share updates on current and future needs for Residential Care Home services. • Understand the capabilities and interests of Residential Care Home providers. • Discuss potential partnership opportunities. • Gather feedback to inform future commissioning strategies. Request for Information: To help us prepare for this event and ensure it is as productive as possible, we kindly request the following information from your organisation: 1. Overview of Services: A brief description of the care services your organisation currently provides, including the types of residents you cater to and any specialised services offered. Capacity and Resources: Information on your current capacity, including the number of residents you can accommodate, staffing levels, and any recent expansions or investments in facilities or developing a provision in Oldham. 3. Challenges and Opportunities: Insights into any challenges your organisation is currently facing, as well as opportunities you see for growth or improvement in the sector. 4. Interest in Collaboration: Whether your organisation is interested in exploring new partnerships or collaborations as part of this engagement event. 5.
