Description

The course is designed for those who have a responsibility for assessment and care planning involving the provision of both minor and major adaptations. To provide adaptation training initially for the OT unqualified workforce, this will later be rolled out for the qualified workforce. The course will provide a greater understanding of the potential benefits of home adaptations, look at the importance of collaboration and professional reasoning, housing and adaptation legislation, reading and interpreting adaptation plans. This course has been previously provided to LCC OTs in-house. Bespoke course for OT CCOs has been developed by training provider. Course is not available elsewhere.
