RFI - Type 93 Replacement/Removal of the tilting function

Description

Norske tog wishes to inform the market about an upcoming process for the procurement of replacement/removal of the class 93 tilting function. Class 93 is a diesel motor vehicle set that consists of two vehicles with traction on both vehicles. The train type is used as a local train / regional train on the Nordlandsbanen, Rørosbanen and Raumabanen. The train sets have low floors and active tilting. Class 93 was the first train type with Jacobs bogie in Norway, and 15 train sets of type 93 were handed out between the years 2000-2002. The entire fleet is experiencing operational problems with the tilting system due to technical errors and lack of parts. The tilting system is designed to optimize driving comfort and driving at increased speeds on conventional curvy track sections in order to shorten driving time. Norske tog wants to remove the tilting function and would also like an indicative offer/pricing for the proposed solution.
