Purchase of one second hand class B fire appliance. -- 1. Class B Fire Engine -- 2. 2018 registration or newer -- 3. Right Hand Drive 4 X 2 Chassis -- 4. Minimum Length 8 metres -- 5. Minimum 6 Person Crew Cab complete with Seat Belts -- 6. Automatic Transmission -- 7. Minimum 260 Brake Horsepower -- 8. Low Level Exhaust Extraction -- 9. Electronic Siren -- 10. Blue Lightbar and front, side and rear blue repeater lights -- 11. Side Scene Lighting -- 12. Minimum 4 BA Set Holders in the Crew Cab -- 13. Minimum 3 Lockers per side and a Pump Bay Locker -- 14. Suitable Shelving in Lockers -- 15. Minimum 1,800 Litre Water Tank -- 16. Minimum 2,000 Litre / Minute pump PTO Driven Main Pump -- 17. 2 No. Hose Reels (complete with 60m of Hose) – 1 per Side -- 18. Supplied with rolling/sliding Ladder Gantries for standard Fire Service Ladders 13.5m, 10.5m Short Extension and Roof Ladders -- 19. Suction Hose Stowage -- 20. Main Pump Test Record within the past 12 months -- 21. Photographs and a Video Clip must be submitted with the tender showing all of the exterior of the appliance, all locker layouts and the crew cab arrangements -- 22. All tariffs / taxes etc. to be paid by the supplier -- 23. Red Body Colour complete with necessary reflective markings. Markings: The Battenberg pattern shall be applied to the cab to blend in with the cab contours whilst maintaining the overall profile of the Battenberg pattern along the full length of the appliance. -- 24. Audible warning for reverse gear and reverse camera shall be fitted (if not already included). -- 25. The appliance shall not contain corrosion that may render the vehicle unroadworthy within the next six years. -- 26. The front bumper of the appliance shall be finished in alternating 150mm red and Yellow stripes to match the bumper contours in the chevron style. -- 27. The rear of the Class B appliance shall be striped in alternating yellow and red 100mm Diamond Grade Reflective strips in inverted V style. -- 28. The vehicle shall be supplied with a current Irish CVRT Certificate with no works required, registered in the Republic of Ireland in Wexford County. -- The Chief Fire Officer, or his representative, and a mechanic of his choosing, shall inspect the chassis as part of the tender evaluation. Facilities shall be made available to inspect and test drive the chassis.
