Highways England has procured a Pavement Framework for the supply of Materials, Plant and Labour to carry out bituminous and concrete patching, surfacing and pavement construction operations including planing (milling), paving, ironwork and associated ancillary works, adjustment, renewal, in-situ and ex-situ recycling, footway surfacing and asphalt kerbing. The framework has been designed and shaped in line with the collaborative approach set out in the Highways England Supply Chain Strategy to enable better end to end focus on performance specifically around safety, customer and efficiency. Investment in pavements over the Roads Investment Strategy period 2015-2020 is circa 3 300 000 000 GBP and it is expected that 2 300 000 000 GBP of the pavements programme will be procured via this Framework, indicative lot values have been provided based on 2 300 000 000 GBP. Highways England has stated 3 300 000 000 GBP to allow for additional programme investment from Highways England or other Contracting Authorities. Lots 7 to 12: Suppliers appointed to Lots 7 to 12 will provide pavement works on projects where pavement element is estimated at under £1m, example regional maintenance (not limited to regional maintenance). Supply of Materials, Plant and Labour to carry out bituminous and concrete patching, surfacing and pavement construction operations including planing,(milling) paving, iron work and associated ancillary works, adjustment and renewal, in-situ and ex-situ recycling, footway surfacing and asphalt kerbing. The scope will also include emergency response. Area 10 Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire. Location to include M6 (junction 15 to just north of junction 30). M53. M56. M57. M58. M60. M61. M62 (A5058 to junction 23). M66. M67. M602. A55 (junction 36A to M53 junction 12). A56 (M66 to M65). A483 (Welsh border to A55). A494 (A550 to M56). A550 (Welsh border to M53 junction 5). A556 (M6 junction 19 to M56 junction 7). A627(M), A663 (A627(M) to A6104) and A5036 (A565 to M57). Area 13 Cumbria, Lancashire. Location to include A74 - M6, M55, A66, A69, A74(M), A585, A590, A595. The anticipated contract length will be 4 years and will be divided into Regional Lots, Lot 1 & 7 North East, Lot 2 & 8 East, Lot 3 & 9 South East, Lot 4 & 10 South West, Lot 5 & 11 Midlands and Lot 6 & 12 North West. Each of the 6 Regions will include x 2 sub Lots. 12 totalled.
