Published
Value
Description
Lease of Single-Engine Aircraft for Aerial Survey Historic Environment Scotland aerial survey programme has operated since 1976 and undertakes an average of about 100 flying hours per year recording archaeological and architectural subjects in Scotland. In support of the programme, tenders are invited for the lease of an aircraft to cover the period 1 May 2021 to 31 March 2025. It is anticipated that this work will be undertaken using a single-engine, high-wing aircraft (e.g., Cessna 172)). A proportion of the work will be undertaken away from base, operating from airfields (e.g., Stornoway) over two or three consecutive days. The lease is to include the aircraft, appropriate insurance, and the maintenance schedule, but not pilot or landings. Both dry (no fuel) and wet leases can be considered.
