Description

National Highways has a requirement for the ongoing provision of AssetWise Linear Network Management configured to enable Structures, Network Event Manager and Network Manager, provided by Bentley Systems. The service utilizes a configured solution for National Highways based on Bentleys COTS solutions. The service areas and capabilities included in the on-going AssetWise service will be Hosting Services to provide the infrastructure of the systems and services, Management Service to provide availability, capacity and performance management, Security Management to provide the management of access control, information rights and security protocols, support Desk covering the AssetWise service including Incidents, Service requests and Change requests, and Licensing Service to provide appropriate licenses for the infrastructure. Lot 1: IAM IS is a critical IT system providing key capabilities to National Highways (NH) through two core functions, Structures Asset Management and Network Occupancy Management. This is vital for NH to maintain physical structural assets on the strategic road network and ensure inspection and maintenance activities take place. The system also provides vital functions for planning road works and lane closures across the strategic road network, enabling the safe opening and closing of these works, planning diversion routes, and passing this information to the public. The system also contributes key data/functions for NH corporate KPI reporting, meeting our license conditions, and supports a number of other statutory requirements. The service utilizes a configured solution for NH based on the proposed suppliers’ solutions. The service areas and capabilities included in the on-going AssetWise service will be hosting services to provide the infrastructure of the systems and services, management service to provide availability, capacity and performance management, security management to provide the management of access control, information rights and security protocols, support desk covering the AssetWise service including Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests, and Licensing Service to provide appropriate licenses for the infrastructure.
