South Cambridgeshire District Council - Zero Carbon Communities Shared Electric Bike Scheme
Published
Description
SCDC is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced company to provide a Zero Carbon Communities Shared Electric Bike Scheme. The Zero Carbon Communities Grant Scheme is a pioneering scheme launched last year by South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) to support community action on climate change. Round two of the Zero Carbon Communities Grant will be launched in the Summer and SCDC will provide funding for a variety of projects including electric bike share-schemes. The aim of the electric bike share scheme is to help reduce the miles travelled in private vehicles and increase the take-up of cycling by people who would not otherwise cycle. Applications for our grant scheme will be received from non-profit groups or organisations based in South Cambridgeshire or benefiting South Cambridgeshire residents; or South Cambridgeshire parish councils.
