Description
OCC and OCHL are interested in working with high performing, sustainable developers who can offer high quality off site manufactured housing at good economies of scale. This framework will potentially be opened up to OCC’s wholly owned organisations and other interested local authorities. We are looking to procure a developer/ developers for around 2500+ dwellings across 18 sites including the high profile Redbridge site based in South Oxford; with a potential option for more sites as the work programme progresses. This will be in part social/ affordable housing but will also include some properties for market sale. OCC and OCHL are currently assessing the feasibility of four options: 40 % carbon reduction from 2013 Building Regulations; 70 % carbon reduction from 2013 Building Regulations; Passiv Haus; and Zero Carbon (including both regulated and unregulated energy but not embodied energy, although low embodied energy would be a benefit). Interested parties are asked to register on this portal https://procontract.due-north.com/Register. The key aims of the ‘Meet the Buyer’ day are for OCC and OHCL to update the marketplace on their current programme and then to better understand what options and solutions are available in the marketplace to enable best price and quality being secured in the delivery of sustainable housing in Oxford. This PIN does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for OCC and OHCL. The intention is to issue a PQQ and then an ITT to procure potential suppliers in January to June 2021.
