Hillingdon Council are inviting a wide range of different providers to meet with the Council about offering Support Services for the residents of Hillingdon. Including: • Information, advice, guidance and wellbeing advice, debt advice and tenancy advice, specialist carer support services, adult mental health support services, providers who offer support to those with a disability and support to those who are most at need; and targeted support for young people 16 to 25. • Hillingdon Council is looking for collaborative transformative longer-term arrangements for services which have a preventative approach and support opportunities to maximise independence and reduce reliance on statutory services. The estimated value represents 7 year contract awards and includes the sum of multiple contracts. Lot 1: Market Warming Event - SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE RESIDENTS OF HILLINGDON. Thursday 13th June 2024 - 9am until 11am Hillingdon Council, Committee Room 5, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge UB8 1UW Parking available at The Chimes Shopping Centre across from the Civic Centre Hillingdon Council are inviting a wide range of different providers to meet with the Council about offering Support Services for the residents of Hillingdon. Including: • Information, advice, guidance and wellbeing advice, debt advice and tenancy advice, specialist carer support services, adult mental health support services, providers who offer support to those with a disability and support to those who are most at need; and targeted support for young people 16 to 25. • Hillingdon Council is looking for collaborative transformative longer-term arrangements for services which have a preventative approach and support opportunities to maximise independence and reduce reliance on statutory services. Our aim is to launch open tenders and to award contracts to successful providers based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative scores. The new long-term contracts are planned to commence on 1st April 2025. It is anticipated that the new commissioned services will be responsive and promote the model of strengths-based, preventative and outcome focused support which build effective and meaningful relationships in the borough. This is an informal event and will be an important opportunity for providers to share ideas with us on what works and what does not work and about potential solutions and services to meet support needs. Interested parties will not be prejudiced by participating / or not participating with this market engagement event. Please confirm your attendance by the 5th June 2024. We also advise interested providers to register as a supplier on Hillingdon’s sourcing portal – www.capitalesourcing.com if they are not already on the portal to be able to view the new tenders which are due to be published in July 2024 and to submit their responses.
