Consultancy Services to Deliver Carbon Audits & Farm Action Plans for the Environment Baselining Pilot

AHDB requires one or more suppliers to deliver carbon audits and accompanying action plans for its Environment Baselining Pilot. AHDB are seeking suppliers who are able to provide consultants that have experience in delivering whole business carbon audits on a range of farming businesses including, but not limited to, the four levy sectors supported by AHDB/QMS namely, Dairy, Beef and Lamb, Cereals and Oilseeds, and Pork. (Supplier/tenderer: the organisation with which AHDB contracts and is responsible for managing the delivery of the services by the Consultants as described in this document. Consultants: these are individuals which are managed by the suppliers and are responsible for delivering the audits and action plans as described.) <br/>Closing date is NOON 21st November 2024 Lot 1: AHDB requires one or more suppliers to deliver carbon audits and accompanying action plans for its Environment Baselining Pilot. AHDB are seeking suppliers who are able to provide consultants that have experience in delivering whole business carbon audits on a range of farming businesses including, but not limited to, the four levy sectors supported by AHDB/QMS namely, Dairy, Beef and Lamb, Cereals and Oilseeds, and Pork. (Supplier/tenderer: the organisation with which AHDB contracts and is responsible for managing the delivery of the services by the Consultants as described in this document. Consultants: these are individuals which are managed by the suppliers and are responsible for delivering the audits and action plans as described.) <br/><br/>(The carbon audit tool to be used on all farms will be provided through AHDB and is being procured through a separate contract (tender reference: 2024-725)). <br/>This carbon audit and subsequent action plan will be delivered on 170 participating farms in the www.ahdb.org.uk/baselining . AHDB wants to determine a net carbon balance for each farm business, reporting at the business, enterprise and system level. The participating farms will include a range of farm enterprises, including but not limited to all AHDB levy sectors i.e. Cereals & Oilseeds, Beef and Lamb, Dairy and Pork. Many farms will be mixed farms and may involve sectors and activities not covered by the AHDB levy. The farms participating in this pilot have been selected based on several factors to optimise regional spread, and distribution of soil type, sector, system and land management practices.
