Specifically, the aims of the Provider are to: • showcase Grimsby's relationship with the Sea with a particular focus on seafood • be a great family day out • deliver content which showcases local skills and talents • deliver a market selling food, drinks and crafts from primarily local providers • bring businesses, educational establishments, community groups, heritage experts, creative individuals and arts organisations together • encourage people and organisations to find creative ways to highlight Grimsby's seafood in an innovative and exciting way that appeals to both local and national audiences. • develop national and international links connecting Grimsby's creativity with other places • secure funding to deliver the festival via a newly established fundraising strategy
