DPS 48 Aids and Adaptions 2023-2025

The Authority invites suitably experience and qualified Organisations to apply for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Aids and Adaptions. The DPS has an initial period of 24 months with two further extension options of up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority. The Authority funds and manages the provision of a range of adaptations for customers following an assessment of need carried out by an Occupational Therapist. The Aids and Adaptations Team administer and manage the provision in accordance with the Authority’s Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) Home Adaptation and Relocation Assistance Policy. It should be noted that some or all of the DPS Lots may also be utilised on other properties that are not funded via the DFG programme. Contractors shall provide the required resources to carry out a range of adaptations in occupied dwellings in accordance with the Authority’s specifications, drawings and contract instructions, the full requirements for each Project will be issued at Mini Competition stage (Stage 2), Application stage is stage 1. It is not a requirement that the Contractor provide the full range of Lots for the DPS and organisations can apply for one or any number of Lots listed below. Lot 1 Bathing Lot 2 Permanent Ramps Lot 3 Semi Permanent Ramps Lot 4 Internal Alterations Lot 5 Door Operating Device - Organisations must be accredited to the: Master Locksmiths Association (MLA). Lot 6 Specialist Materials – Supply and/or install Lot 7 Servicing and maintenance of self-cleaning toilets
