Description

The contract includes the procurement of forensic laboratory equipment for fingerprint examinations and for examinations of other forensic materials. Lot Lot 1: Cyano cabinet: Forensic laboratory equipment Cyano cabinet is required. In connection with processing fingerprints on non-porous surfaces, developing/pretreatment with cyano is an effective and most common international method. Lot Lot 2: Climate chamber: Forensic laboratory equipment Climate chamber is required. Climate chamber is used for developing fingerprints on porous materials (paper, etc). Fingerprints are developed by using e.g., Ninhydrin, DFO and Indandione. Lot Lot 3: Extractor cabinet with bench: Forensic laboratory equipment Extractor cabinet with bench is required. The extractor cabinet with bench is used in connection with jobs including chemicals, narcotics, etc. Users manage several types of chemicals and substances, and it is expected that the product protects the users' health, safety, and environment and that it is secure in relation to emissions of hazardous substances. Lot Lot 4: Fingerprint bench/cabinet: Forensic laboratory equipment Fingerprint bench/cabinet is required. Fingerprint bench/cabinet with suction is used in such a way that fingerprint powder can be brushed and used in a safe environment. It is important that the suction extracts the powder from the operator to avoid inhaling substances from the powder.
