Lieferung und Aufstellung von Hardware inkl. Software und Support: 1 x Dell PowerStore 1200T Storage 1 x AppSync for PowerStore Lot 1: Die zentralen Speichersysteme der Hochschule wurden im Jahr 2017 zusammen mit der zentralen Server-Umgebung beschafft und installiert. Sie bestehen aus zwei redundanten Dell Compellent-Produkten, die in einem Cluster-Betrieb für eine sichere Aufbewahrung sämtlicher virtueller Maschinen und Netzlaufwerke sorgen. Der Hersteller-Support der Geräte ist vertraglich beendet. Eine weitere Verlängerung erscheint im Vergleich zu einem Neukauf unwirtschaftlich, so dass hiermit das ausgeschriebene Nachfolgemodell der Reihe Dell PowerStore aufgrund von Kompatibilitätsgründen produktspezifisch angefragt wurde.
