Das Gleis 253 im Bahnhof Böblingen kann derzeitig für die Abstellung eines Vollzugs genutzt werden. Ziel der Maßnahme ist, zukünftig einen Langzug auf dem Gleis abstellen zu können. Hierfür wird die Weiche 42 in Richtung Bahnsteig verschoben, um eine Verlängerung des Gleises zu erzielen. Zur Bespannung der neuen Weiche 42 sind 5 neue Oberleitungsmaste zu errichten und das Kettenwerk über der Weiche und dem Gleis 253 neu zu regulieren. Für die Bauzustände sind 2 bauzeitliche Maste zu errichten.
