Award of Distress Brief Intervention
Published
Description
A Distress Brief Intervention (DBI) programme has been in place in Argyll and Bute since 2022-23. However, the current contractual agreement with the programme’s existing Supplier will end on 31/03/25. As a result, NHS Highland is seeking to procure a Supplier to sustain the DBI Level 2 service across Argyll and Bute from 01/04/25.The Supplier will be expected to sustain the current level of service, managing approximately 45 referrals per month for DBI Level. Tenders should outline a proposed contract duration, for the contract value of £49,999, anticipated to be approximately 6 months. An Implementation Group has been established to explore how NHS Highland can meet its long-term DBI requirements for Argyll and Bute. This aligns with the Scottish Government’s goal to embed DBI in all regions of Scotland during 2024, with continued sustainability thereafter.
