We at Cheshire West and Chester are reviewing our Arrangement of Care service incorporating our Direct Payment Support, and Information, advice and guidance support related to employing Personal Assistants. Whilst a focus on Personal Assistants will remain important, we are hoping to develop the service to include micro-enterprises, day opportunities, using direct payments for memberships and equipment. Support for residents will also need to include the financial and audit processes, along with training for personal assistants and working with the Local Authority teams and the NHS as part of a integrated Arrangement of Care service.
