The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of replacement ‘outward opening, fully reversible’ and/ or ‘tilt and turn’ uPVC windows, uPVC balcony doors, GRP composite house entrance doors, FD60 certified flat entrance doors and all associated works/alterations within occupied flats/houses at Various Addresses, Barlanark G33. Window and door replacements and associated works anticipated as follows, quantities and/or programming may vary: 2020-2021 — Windows: 60 properties within 12 closes and 13 doors; 2021-2022 — Windows: 43 properties within 10 closes and 47 doors; 2022-2023 — Windows: 43 properties within 9 closes and 19 doors; 2023-2024 — Doors: 61 properties; 2024-2025 — Doors 72 properties; 2025-2026 — Doors 66 properties. The tender documents comprise the ESPD document [minimum selection standards]; the specification of works [contract and tender pricing document] and the [tender quality] contractor design proposals [CDP]. The tender evaluation will comprise the ESPD, your quality score for CDP and the contract sum stated on the form of tender. The submitted ESPD will assess the selection criteria as a pass or fail to identify contractors who pass by meeting the specified criteria. Only those contractors who achieve an ESPD pass will have their tender quality and cost considered/evaluated. The criteria for scoring will be to reach a total percentage score as follows: — Price (tender) — deducting 1 % from 100 for every percentage point each tender is in excess of the lowest tender, prior to weighting. — Quality: (1) maximum 50 marks for completed design/contract delivery proposals ranked in relation to the other candidates, based on the employer’s stated aspirations/requirements and the information provided by the candidate(s) and (2) maximum 50 marks for CDP specification comparison summary, deducting five marks for each specification item/area where the candidate fails to demonstrate evidence of or agree to compliance. The CDP scores will be converted to a percentage, prior to weighting.
