The University of South Wales (USW) is conducting a research and development project called NutriReValorise that is funded by the UK Government , and administered locally by Powys County Council. The project is focused on nutrient recovery from wastewaters, slurries and digestates, specifically targeting phosphate and ammonium recovery and use. As part of this project, the university is seeking to procure a freeze dryer for processing multiple research samples including microbial cells, typically ranging from 10 to 200 ml. This equipment is crucial to the success of the project.
