The Contractor will be creating shells for the new Second World War Gallery (SWWG) and new The Holocaust Gallery (THG), 2 fully fitted-out learning spaces on Level 1 and Level 2 of the Museum, upgrading the HVAC services to a storage area on Level 2 and a refurbished toilet block, also on Level 2 of the Museum. At present, the works are scheduled to run from January 2019 until December 2020. Timeframes and completion dates for specific sections within that period will vary. A pre-procurement briefing / consultation process will take place, and is detailed in the additional information section. Please note this is ONLY applicable to the basebuild and non-gallery spaces works tender. Procurement is scheduled to run from issue of the Contract Notice on 16.7.2018 to appointment on 20.12.2018. The procurement will use a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to generate shortlist for a lump sum tender for the exhibition basebuild and non-gallery main contract. The works will comprise the fit-out of the new Second World War exhibition, within the fully refurbished 'black box' space created by the preceding basebuild works. At present, these works are scheduled to run from July 2019 to November 2020, of which on-site works will be from May 2020 until November 2020. The Second World War Gallery will include, but not be limited to, new flooring finishes, exhibition setworks, showcases, 3rd fix electrics and lighting, graphics, audio-visual hardware, digital media, hands-on interactives and models. The organisation of the procurement approach for these elements of work is still to be finalised. Procurement is scheduled to run from issue of the Contract Notice on 1.4.2019 to appointment on 29.7.2019. The procurement will use a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to generate a shortlist for tender(s) for the Second World War Gallery fit-out works contract(s). The organisation of the procurement approach for these elements of work is still to be finalised. The works will comprise the fit-out of the new The Holocaust exhibition, within the fully refurbished “black box” space created by the preceding basebuild works. Procurement is scheduled to run from issue of the Contract Notice on 1.4.2019 to appointment on 29.7.2019. The procurement will use a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to generate a shortlist for tender(s) for the Second World War Gallery fit-out works contract(s). The services will comprise production and editing of a series of commissions for the new Second World War and the Holocaust galleries. At present, these services are scheduled to run from May 2019 to February 2021. Timeframes and completion dates for specific sections within that period will vary. Procurement is scheduled to run from issue of the Contract Notice on 10.1.2019 to final appointment on 27.5.2019. The procurement will use a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to generate a shortlist for tender(s) for the Second World War and the Holocaust galleries digital media services. The organisation of the procurement approach for these elements of work is still to be finalised.
