Description

Pursuant to Reg. 58 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016, Portsmouth Water Limited (‘PW’) is hosting a supply chain engagement event on 25.2.2020 to raise market awareness of the potential opportunities associated with its Havant Thicket Reservoir project (‘Project’) and to start its pre-procurement supply chain engagement exercise. The main scope of the project includes the design and construction of: (i) Main reservoir works; (ii) Pipeline works; (iii) MEICA works; (iv) Pumping station upgrades; (v) Pre-treatment facility; (vi) Visitor centre; (vii) Environmental mitigation works; and (viii) Other associated works. The project involves the construction of the first major strategic water resource in South East England for decades. The CPV codes set out in this PIN are included to give an indication of the likely scope of works and services. PW does not guarantee that all the activities referenced by the CPV codes will form part of any future contract notice(s), nor is the list exhaustive of all activities which may be included in any procurement process under this project. PW intends to procure suitably experienced organisations, with the relevant experience, capacity and capability of successfully delivering comparable design and build contracts. Contracts will include the design, construction, systems integration, commissioning and handover of the infrastructure whilst complying with all constraints and undertakings and working collaboratively with PW, third parties, stakeholders and the local community and businesses.
