Diversionary Youth Project

Description

Bridgend Public Service Board are looking for a detached youth team to work closely with colleagues in South Wales Police, existing youth provision and other third sector providers to address ASB within the community. The successful bidder will: • Need to provide pop-up diversionary activities, to engage with children and young people across the county borough • Need to work in collaboration with other third sector providers to signpost children and young people to relevant provision • Provide a team of detached youth workers who will quickly respond to requests to engage with children and young people and divert them away from Anti-Social behaviour on a reactive basis The end goal of this project would be for Children and Young People to be signposted/referred to existing BCBC and third sector youth provision, and or other education, leisure and sporting activities
