Description

Crown commercial service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place a Pan government collaborative agreement for the provision of telecommunications services including services over the Public services network (PSN) and Health and social care network (HSCN) connectivity, to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public sector bodies, including but not limited to Central Government Departments and their agencies, Non departmental public bodies, Devolved administrations, NHS Bodies and providers of services to the NHS, Local authorities, Police, Voluntary sector, Charities, and/or other private organisations acting as managing agents or procuring on behalf of these public sector bodies. The above public sector bodies have a need for the provision of telecommunications and other services, including Public services network (PSN) compliant and Health and social care network (HSCN) compliant services, to facilitate inter-organisational collaboration through secur. The above public sector bodies have a need for the provision of telecommunications and other services, including Public services network (PSN) compliant and Health and social care network (HSCN) compliant services, to facilitate inter-organisational collaboration through secure communication, interoperability and sharing of information. It is intended that this commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all telecommunications requirements for UK Central government departments. The services to be made available under the agreement will include, but are not limited to, provision of Data Access Services including Networks, Wi-Fi, Gateways and related services; Voice lines and minute bundles; Mobile services including voice and data, Pager and Radio services; eMail service; Internet service provision, Content filtering services and Intruder detection systems; Communication services including Video and audio conferencing services, and Unified communications; Call centre services; Supporting services including security, information assurance, design/build/operate consultancy, acquisition, technology audit and site surveys. Optical fibre infrastructure including fibre to the premises, duct infrastructure and associated infrastructure support services including the provision of Local full fibre networks in support of DCMS policy. The agreement will be suitable for the provision of services that are PSN-compliant; and also for the provision of services at lower security levels; or that do not require PSN-compliance. It is recommended that suppliers familiarise themselves with the PSN and accreditation process https://www.gov.uk/government/groups/public-services-network The agreement will be suitable for the provision of HSCN compliant services. Suppliers bidding to provide HSCN compliant services will be required to gain or demonstrate HSCN compliance. It is recommended that suppliers familiarise themselves with the HSCN compliance process. https://digital.nhs.uk/health-social-care-network/suppliers The services are required to be provided primarily to the UK, although the agreement may also be used by UK contracting authorities to service their overseas sites including Europe, United States (US) and Rest of the World (RoW). The Contracting Authority considers that this opportunity may be suitable for economic operators that are Small or medium enterprises (SMEs). The lotting structure of this agreement will be determined as a result of the market engagement.
