WCC is running this Preliminary Market Consultation process in line with Article 40 of the 2014/24/EU Directive and is seeking engagement and feedback from investors and developers to unlock the delivery of Trinity Wharf. ----- This PMC outlines the vision for Trinity Wharf and the factors that make it a such a unique opportunity. Set in an unrivalled location between Wexford Harbour and Wexford town centre, with panoramic waterfront views, the scheme aims to regenerate a derelict brownfield site, transforming it into a first-class mixed-use urban quarter, with sustainability at its core. ----- Trinity Wharf has received planning permission for development of a varied asset mix across 5.5 hectares including a 120-bed hotel, a cultural / convention centre, 58 residential units spanning over six floors with a mix of one and two bed apartments, 1,528 sq.m restaurant, three new office block each comprising of six floors and a 462 space car park. However, WCC will support an investor / developer should a reasonable optimisation or amendment be required to the current planning application in order to unlock the delivery of the commercial assets. ----- The Trinity Wharf scheme will leverage off the inherent advantages of Wexford town, with its transport links, proximity to Rosslare Europort, position on the Eastern Economic Corridor and popularity with tourists and visitors, accentuating the area’s unique natural environment and built and cultural heritage.
