Description
Sport Wales is committed to ensuring that all users can access high quality information and services through digital communication channels in an accessible manner. Sport Wales has put processes in place to improve the accessibility of its corporate website, and we are now looking to address further areas of improvements on a regular basis. First and foremost, we want to embed inclusive and accessible communications within our culture and our ways of working - not because we need to, but because we want to. Secondly, as a public sector body, we are subject to the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. Over the past two years, the main corporate website has been audited twice and is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (hereafter referred to as ‘WCAG’) 2.2 AA standard. A successful supplier will be able to meet the following necessities: 1. Annual testing and reporting on the corporate website against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard to ensure continuous improvement. Findings can be achieved through a blend of automated tools and manual user testing. The subsequent report will outline issues and clear actions needed to address them to be fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. 2.
