Learning and Development for Adult Care Workforce: Flexible Purchasing Solution (FPS)

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for suitably qualified training and development applicants to be appointed onto a flexible purchasing system (FPS) for the provision of a range of training solutions for the adult social care and public health workforce. Training solutions provided to the authority must be based on person-centred values and principles and support high quality services and improved outcomes for customers through the provision of a competent, capable, and skilled workforce. Adult social care comprises personal care and practical support for older adults who cannot manage the tasks of everyday life and for working-age adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or physical or mental illnesses. It also includes support for their carers and personal assistants. Public Health centres around protecting and improving the health of the population and the local community, through various means at all life stages to improve health outcomes for Rotherham residents. The audience may include wider public health workforce, businesses/ employers and/or residents themselves. The Learning and development FPS will provide the Authority with the opportunity to procure a range of services within the scope of learning and development. And will be split into 13 different lots, which are listed within this notice. The rules of the FPS permit additional lots to be added to the FPS, subject to remaining within the same scope. Lot 1: Adult Care Qualifications This lot will be utilised for the procurement of Adult Care Qualifications including but limited to the following, subject to the needs and requirements of the Council:- Level 2 Diploma in Care Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Management for Adult Care Level 5 Certificate of Fundamental Knowledge in Commissioning for Wellbeing Additional information: The FPS is established on the basis of an indicative 10 years (120 months). The FPS may continue beyond this point subject to remaining fit for purpose for the Council's needs and meeting any relevant governance requirements. Lot 2: Autism and Learning Disabilities This lot will be utilised for the procurement of Autism and Learning Disabilities training requirements subject to the needs of the Council. This will include but is not limited to the following:- Autism and learning disabilities - tier 1 Autism and learning disabilities - tier 2 Autism and learning disabilities - tier 3 Makaton Lot 3: Care Certificate and core skills The council are looking for suitably qualified adult care trainers for the delivery of: Care Certificate and core skills Assessing the Care Certificate Care Certificate introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours Core skills in a care setting • English • Number • Digital • Employability Additional information: The FPS is established on the basis of an indicative 10 years (120 months). Lot 4: Dementia The Council are looking for suitably qualified training and development providers who are able to provide training solutions for the adult social care workforce.
