Description
University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust and North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust require a provider for the rental of bariatric equipment at their hospital sites. The opportunity will be split into geographical lots and the Tenderer can apply for one or both lots. The Trusts wish to contract with an experienced provider for providing rental of Bariatric equipment for an initial period of 36 MONTHS, on a fixed price contract, with an option to extend the contract for up to an initial period of 12 MONTHS with a further option to extend for a further 12 MONTHS, a maximum on 5 YEARS subject to continuing demand and/or satisfactory performance. Subject to activity and demand, there may also be a requirement to carry out adhoc rentals subject to authorisation from the appropriate Trust personnel. The provider will be required to provide the service as outlined within the specification and tis being 24/7 including (weekends and Bank Holidays. Owing to the nature of the contract, future demand cannot be reasonably ascertained, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay or North Cumbria Integrated Care will not guarantee or commit to an agreed workload with any supplier(s) selected to provide this service. The value detailed is a combined value for both Trusts with Morecambe Bay Trust equating to 40% and North Cumbria Trust 60% of this value.
